Hungry Whale Grocery Site Agreed Order, Cleanup & SEPA Documents
Ecology is entering into a legal agreement called Agreed Order DE 20344 with the Port of Grays Harbor (port) to cleanup contamination at the Hungry Whale Grocery Site. The port is the potentially liable person (PLP) responsible for cleanup at the Site.
Ecology invites you to review and comment on the following documents for the Site.
Remedial Investigation (RI) and Feasibility Study (FS) Report.This report describes the contamination and where it is located. The report compares choices for how to clean up the contamination.
Draft Cleanup Action Plan (dCAP). This plan describes Ecology's plan for cleaning up contamination.
Agreed Order DE 20344. This agreementrequires the port to implement and maintain the cleanup actions described in the Cleanup Action Plan.
SEPA Checklist and Determination of Non-Significance. This document describes Ecology's determination that cleanup activities are not likely to harm the environment.
